As it’s the middle of summer and the holidays are in full swing,
I’d like to show you a few summer mountain landscapes in my photos.
This year I haven’t had much time for hiking or staying in mountain huts, which I really enjoy,
but there’s still time to make up for it.

This collection of photos is the result of many years of hiking with my camera kit. Staying overnight in a mountain hut allows you to get closer to a particular place and get up at bit later than sleeping in the valley.

Unfortunately, I have no experience of outdoor - camping. And in many places it is forbidden and sometimes really controlled.

View of the Wildsee in the morning
And the cottage further on is the Wildseeloderhaus in Austria, offering accommodation, delicious food and even a bit of rowing

A small, picturesque chapel at the very end of the Kaisertal valley in Austria

it’s worth combining this with a stay at the Anton Karg Haus

A less known view from the Olperer Hütte. Almost everybody knows probably the view with the bridge, but try to find something else around this area.

one of the most picturesque huts in the Bavarian Alps

the Tegernsee Hütte

This lake, which resembles a pearl, is also well known amongst landscape photographers

Seealpsee near  Oberstdorf. I stayed in Edmund Probst Haus for a night

This morning’s view, captured before an early breakfast in the mountains, which I photographed near the Sulzenauhütte mountain hut in Stubai, Austria

View of the Wilder Kaiser

A walk near the Priener Hütte in Bavaria offers breathtaking views
